Overview

Rover Wireless offers a suite of wireless products and services developed for coverage challenged areas requiring real time connectivity and wireless functionality. Our products are focused on the exchange of mission critical information in both voice and data communication.

What is AMP?

Amplified Mobile Products. Rover offers a variety of devices and support services geared at increasing coverage for all cellular communications. These products are designed for both mobile and fixed use scenarios.

In-Building Amplifiers

Rover offers a variety of amplifiers that will increase signal coverage and can be used with all the current US wireless carriers. In-building amplifiers are designed to take an existing signal and boost it throughout an area or building.

We have just completed beta testing, FCC Licensing and Cellular Carrier Certification. This product is manufactured in an ISO certified facility. Manufactured under license from Motorola, Inc., the units are manufactured using nine patents. These amplifiers are the only units on the market with a 5-watt output on cellular and Nextel. Our high performance cellular amplifiers dramatically increase cellular voice and data performance. Multilevel signal filtration supports high speed and dial up cellular Internet connections for users of Sierra Wireless and Sony Erickson aircards just to mention a few. These amplifiers have been successfully tested with 64 voice users simultaneously. The amplifier units are shipped complete and ready to install including a 110vac power supply, an external antenna with mounting hardware and 25’ of low loss coax cable with connectors. Plus, an interior repeater antenna with an attached 12’ coax cable and connector is also included. We supply additional extension cables with connectors at a minimal cost and a variety of custom roof, fascia and on building mounts to facilitate external antenna installation on a per quote basis. Our products have a “marine heritage”. The external antenna; the connectors, cabling and fasteners are all “marine quality”.

We recommend installing one amplifier of each frequency per building. We will recommend the antenna and component installation locations from your blue prints to a local vendor of your choice at no charge. We can also provide onsite personnel to perform a building survey with test equipment. Our survey team will map out the best location for all components and return post installation for an evaluation. Onsite services are available on a per hour basis plus travel expenses. Upon request, a PDF with the amplifier specifications, installation data sheet and equipment list will be provided.
